Mumbai airport sees record May flyers

Though GoFirst pulled out flights in early May, thanks to Mumbaikars' appetite for air travel during summer holidays, the city airport didn't see a dip in passenger volumes. In fact, Mumbai airport handled a record 43.4 lakh passengers in May, the highest ever for the month. The previous record was nearly 43.2 lakh passengers handled pre-pandemic, in May 2018.
