The data also revealed that roughly three people in Mumbai died every hour due to heart-related complications. The BMC has been conducting screening programs and providing dietary counseling to promote a healthy lifestyle among residents. The total number of deaths in 2022 decreased compared to the pandemic years of 2020 and 2021.
