Mumbai: Seven held for cheating loan aspirant of Rs 5 lakh

The city crime branch arrested seven people, including three women, for allegedly preparing fake income tax returns, bank statements and other documents to obtain credit cards for customers who needed a loan. The accused charged 10 to 15% commission for helping a client to get a credit card. The accused cheated the complainant of over Rs 4.5 lakh. Cops suspect more such cases will emerge as the probe progresses.
