2.5kg tumour removed from teen’s neck at Sion hospital

Surgeons at LTMG Hospital in Mumbai successfully removed a 2.5kg tumor from a 15-year-old boy's neck and shoulder. The surgery, which lasted 6.5 hours, was performed to improve the teenager's self-esteem and overall well-being. The tumor had been growing since birth and had reached substantial dimensions. The medical team navigated around critical blood vessels, nerves, and muscles without causing damage. The boy is now on his way to recovery.
