The Shiv Sena has given the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) a 2-3 day ultimatum to decide on permission for its Dussehra rally at Shivaji Park. The Sena claims that the BMC has been deliberately delaying permission and may have to go to the high court if a decision is not made soon. Last year, there was a showdown between rival factions of the Shiv Sena over holding their annual Dussehra rally at Shivaji Park.
