FDA serves stop activity notice on eatery at BKC

Burn - Bar and Kitchen in Mumbai has been served a stop activity notice by the state Food and Drug Administration (FDA) due to hygiene violations. The restaurant is the 18th in the city to be temporarily shut down since August. FDA officials found multiple hygiene breaches during an inspection, including expired goods and synthetic food colouring. The restaurant also failed to provide medical fitness records for its kitchen staff and water analysis reports. Despite the notice, the restaurant remained open for business.
